Why Love Yourself?

No matter how much I was loved by another, even God's love, I could not feel love or give it back. My fears and insecurities caused my internal dialogue to be one that was self-critical. I carbon-copied what I felt of myself onto others, believing they must think the same way. I believed God to be an angry and punishing father that never quite found me to be okay. I could not love another fully~ until I decided to learn to love myself. In my long process of healing and loving; changing my thoughts and ideas through knowledge and faith, I came to realize that God is more loving than I expected, more forgiving, more proud of my faithfulness. I began to love my family more, giving up selfish ways as I did not realize all the "nutrition" I took and did not give back. I realized that I should laugh at my mistakes and forgive my silly shortcomings. There is no doubt that God has guided my path with HRMagoo...all the wonderful people I have met and all the doors that seemed to magically open for me. Up until 7 years ago, I did not create art, I did not sing, I did not create natural products or anything of that sort. I was sitting on the couch breastfeeding my daughter, feeling quite sorry for myself and again, camping out in misery. A strong whisper or voice told me to, "Get up! Or stay this way forever...do something" For once, I got up and created a tree woman. I loved her. She was strong, tall, faithful and wise. I wanted to be her...and now I am~ Love Yourself...Both Inside & Out...and the rest of the world will love you...and God will agree that loving yourself is the best way to find true peace and happiness~****************************** Mary Moses
